AppUS Launcher is a free android app that allows users to create widgets and add them to their home screen. With just a few simple taps, the widgets are downloaded into the mobile phone as well as adding to the home screen. The features include support for widgets such as games, news, weather, etc. It also has a "dashboard" mode which allows users to browse through various widgets. The features of this are very similar to the widgets in widgets.com.
The reason I am writing this article is because I wanted to investigate the legitimacy of AppUS Launcher, or any free android app for that matter. The reason for this is because there is a great deal of information online on how to download the software onto a phone. This software is not difficult to install, but its legibility is questionable. So, I would like to show the difference between what the software offers and what it actually does. By looking at how these files work, we can see what the software is really about. We can even look at the instructions on how to run it.
I am not saying that I have cracked open every free apps and found out what they were. I am only pointing out the difference between the software and what it actually does. Another thing I would like to point out is the fact that it is not one of the top 100 software available. This is a shame because it has a number of good features. For example, the free version allows the user to add up to 10 different widgets and keep track of the time and date of when each is used. It also features a weather widget that is packed with information such as current temperature, forecast, and the daily pressure and humidity. Not only is this software free but it's very functional and easy to use.
